To clarify, this is directed at the camera application, correct? I'd find this convenient as well, but the video recording zoom is unbearably stuttery and has been since this phone has been out. Only way to not have zoom lag is to record at 4k60, but you don't get to use other zoom lenses, resulting in a worse image than say 4k30
