A lot of people including myself have noticed very sluggish animations in both Beta 1 and 2 with 120hz enabled. The most notable areas are the app drawer and the notification panel fully opened. This issue is due to the way Samsung is currently rendering any sort of Blur effect. You will find that this is true if you enable "Reduce transparency and blur" under Accessibility>Visibility Enhancements. This is a great option to toggle for now until Samsung works out these laggy animations.
So I'm not the only one experiencing this sluggishness. This was a downgrade. Experiencing terrible performance. Wonder how Samsung even let this through
