Tips
If anyone else is having the blurred wallpaper glitch on the home screen, a quick fix for me has been to just toggle night mode on and then off or vice-versa depending on what you're on. Basically just switch the modes in the pull-down menu real quick.
It seems to reset the home screen.
This doesn't seem to fix it forever or anything, but if it's bothering you, it'll fix it until it happens again.

THANK YOU. This fix works.
The oddity is that this issue occurs every time you dismiss Samsung's "Beta updates will install in the background" message by pressing "OK". I'll see if I notice anything else causing the blurred background and phone slowdown (as the blur leads to everything stuttering like crazy).

Tips
I had this issue of the blurred screen the day after the update. I restarted the phone and it's not happened again. I have rebooted multiple times and cleared off that notification and the blur has not returned. Strange how the same model phone reacts so different...must be related to setting differences or other apps....IDK.
