Frame drops when swiping back to home screen possible fix

I was having a lot of frame drops when swiping back to the home screen. I switched from 120Hz to 60Hz and then switched back to 120Hz and the frame drops are gone.  Swiping home from widgets is still janky though.

Edit: swiping to the home screen from an app that was opened from the app drawer and is NOT on your home screen is still messed up. If the app IS on your home screen the animation will be smooth.
