Headphone buzzing and Screen non response

I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy M31s and I've had some issues with hearing a background buzzing when using any headphones. I've also had problems starting up my phone and the screen not responding. Is it faulty and should I return it or can it be fixed?

I'm so sorry to hear this! Can you advise when you started experiencing this?

 

I would recommend making sure you have the latest update applied to your device. 

 

Also, Please try to put your phone in safe mode to see if it persists:

If the phone is working properly within Safe mode, this tells us that there's an application that's installed that could be causing the issue. Only way to know which one would be to remove them one at a time, until the symptom disappear.
