Modes and routines notification received condition not working

The "notification received" condition of modes and routines app is not working. The routine doesn't start when the notification is received. I tried restarting my phone (Galaxy A34) and clearing the cache but it still doesn't work.

Are you sure you set the parameters of the routine correctly? What are the parameters of your routine? Remember, if you have multiple "if" conditions, all the conditions have to be met for the routine to start

I accidentally turned on mobile hotspot condition instead of mobile data condition. Thanks!

Can modes and routines be removed? It seems to track everything.

No, but you don't have to use them.  *If* they are tracking (doubt it), it would only be if you set them so they know when to be active.  If automated modes and routines are not tracking your activity, how will they know when to turn on?

Just what do you think is being done with this tracking information?
