Have a Note 20 512gb and a1tb SD card.

Okay so it isn't getting any new OS, and okay, maybe the Security Updates are finished.
But you are not stuck Clouding your data...

OR

Have an S24 Ultra where you have a 3 Year Contract and whatever Storage Variant you buy, let's say the 512gb model, is the Storage you have for the life of the Phone?

Hands up anyone who in the months leading up to a Phone's release, got all psyched by the fact, for instance, that the S 4 was capable of telling you what the ambient temperature in the room was? (Yes, that was a sensor on the S4, which was never to return.)
Then, you really never made use of the feature as the weeks went on.

I can remember a slew of features and capabilities of phones I bought which seemed like cool features, most of which I never made any use of.

My Note 20 Ultra Stylus. I can count on both hands the number of times I used it....

Good reason to get the S24U:

7 Years of Android OS Upgrades
7 Years of Security Updates

Yeah I'm holding on to my note for dear life but I think what I will do is invest in a 2tb hard drive, 4tb home cloud devices. And get the s25 ultra when it comes out. It pretty dumb that samsung made a decision to outsource cloud and messaging. Thing that are key to mobile device experience. They need to take a lesson from blackberry and focus on customers convenience. It's cool to allow 3rd party platform when it's optional not when it mandatory. I refuse to pay a cloud subscription for life

Among my line up I have a Note 20 Ultra Snapdragon 512GB unlocked model and at 4 yrs since launch it remains as powerful and feature-filled as the day I unboxed it. It's still receiving monthly security updates, retains all of the features Samsung deleted in their newer models (SD card/expandable storage, MST payment support and even a charger in the box) and meets all of my needs. I use my S-pen on a regular basis including translating and highlighting text, jotting down notes and lists, remote camera shutter, creating Live Messages, etc. It is one of my favorite devices.

I was cleaning out a drawer a couple of days ago and found my old S4 with the micro USB port. It seemed like a tiny screen.
I wonder if I took the SIM card out of my fold 6, would it work?
