My camera icon is gone from my home screen and my apps screens. I checked in Settings>Home Screen>Hide apps; Camera is listed but not hidden. If I search for Camera app, it comes up, but I don't want to do that every time I want to take a picture! I also tried Settings>Apps>Camera and cleared cache; no luck (I didn't want to clear data since I didn't want to lose any photos on my phone). Restarting phone also did not help.
Open app drawer, search for "camera". Long press the camera icon, you can either choose "locate" or "add to homescreen". Locate shows where in your apps camera is located (icon will jiggle when shown) and add to home screen is self explanatory. Hope this helps. 🤞
