there are two message app on my galaxy s21 ultra after that i transferred my data from old phone by smart switch. how can i uninstall the second app?
Go to Play Store,
select your Profile icon upper right
Select Manage tab
Select Messages app
The default is to show Recently Updated (so probably not visible in that list).
Tap on Recently Updated then select Name and it will show all apps ... scroll down to find Messages
see attached screenshots
thanks for your fast response.
I found the manage tab but there is only one message app ( default S 21 ultra app) . I couldn't find the message app that installed by smart switch.
I ask, because there's two apps called "Messages", one from Google and one from Samsung ... yes, it's confusing
If you can't find the Messages in the Play Store, then it's the Samsung app, which is un-installable
Samsung icon looks like this.
Galaxy S21 Ultra 512g(VZW), Galaxy Book (original, VZW), Tab S4, Galaxy Watch3 (VZW)
It installed by the smart switch, the origin app is Google message. it should be a solution for removing the second app that installed after data transferred by smart switch.
