Android Auto connection issues with my S22 Ultra

I was so excited to buy a new car with Android Auto...until I tried using it with my S22 Ultra.

Not only does it disconnect/reconnect/jack up my bluetooth in numerous ways, it literally causes the mobile network signal on my phone to disappear for minutes at a time in non-deadzones.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions? I am just at the end of my rope.

Edited: I've changed the cables three times, each time ordering a higher end one. It happens in TWO cars, not just my new one. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted five times. I've turned off the fast charge feature. I have done all of the normal troubleshooting I can find. I've never seen anything like it--it's like AA sucks the signal right out of the air with my phone. I've had to finally disable it on the headunit; my phone works fine with just bluetooth, but AA is dead to me. And it's incredibly frustrating. I also spent two hours on the phone with my service provider to make sure nothing was happening in our area with the network. OH--and I bought the Motorola wireless dongle to try that, too. Same thing happened.  Android 13, 5.1.

Wired. I edited the comment for more info. I tried the Motorola wireless dongle, too, and the same thing happens.

You said you tried all kinds of things. Have you tried a network reset under the settings/general management /reset menu? It will reset sim (just refresh it) bt and wifi.

I did, but only once. Maybe i should try it again. (Definition of insanity does NOT apply to these kinds of situations.)

Three cables, each an upgrade from the previous one. No dice.

It sounds like it may be a software glitch. What's the year make and model of your vehicle? I know that Hyundai's are really bad with their android auto.
