Calendar App was Updated

My calendar is messed up. Used to be I could write in my events with screen write feature and see them all at a glance. Now I have to tap on a stupid color-coded bar to bring up the event and have to go to an event board to type in the event. This sucks big time. It complicates the process, consumes to much time, adds unnecessary steps and I can't opt out. Quit trying to fix things that aren't broke just to be doing something different. I'm going back to my paper calendar where I can see everything at once. This change made the calendar useless to me.

I still get the overview when I tap on the icon or the widget. Does this not work on your phone?
