S22 Phones Wi-Fi dropping and reconnecting again

After the initial UI 6 update, our S22 phones started dropping and reconnecting wifi every few seconds. The fix was to disable everything under "Intelligent wifi" in Settings. Wifi stayed connected... at least for a few months.

But now some recent update has wifi dropping and reconnecting again, like before. Not Intelligent wifi this time, because that feature is still disabled.

Any advice? The internet is clogged with users who have this problem, but there aren't any recent/new fixes AFAIK. We're close to ditching our Samsungs for something more stable.

I've noticed on some of the latest updates that they return some settings back to default. I would think that there is an app or setting that has wifi control like wifi on/off in intelligent wifi but thats all toggled off or switching back and forth between data and wifi like you just far enough away from your trusted place but that toggles in intel wifi also this is a tough one but i hope this gave you some sort of places to maybe look.

I didn't even do the update and it's affecting my S21. I never ever update my phones because it always takes away features that I want. I called AT&T and they told me to maybe let my phone update to fix it. Against my own thinking I did an update and of course it didn't fix my problem of not being able to connect to my wifi server at home.

These damned updates drive me crazy. And I've disabled everything regarding updates but it still pushes it through. With each new update I lose more capabilities to adjust my settings and my battery drains faster. I absolutely hate iPhone but it seems android is starting to play the same games.

Dod you say it was doing it to a couple of your phones? Or devices?

Yes we have two S22's and they're both doing it.

Other things (laptops, etc) stay connected. It's 100% the phones.

You know. I can understand people not wanting to update there phones or devices due to changing features and kinks Sam and google have to work out but we keep so much of our personal info and work to do's that I believe even though there may be some inconvenience early on updating your devices keeps safe guards in place to help keep those private things on your devices and when not updating your not getting the full capibilities out of your device leading to what I think are more probleems with things like updated wifi software and messaging security. Just my opinion that your missing important thing you need to stay connected when you don't update. Just an opinion

I don't have a problem with them updating for security patches. But they also take away capabilities/functions that were once available. Features that are useful and are not necessary to remove as we were one able to just change the settings to our liking. One example. The last update took away the ability to swipe from the bottom. Very useful functions. I had to install 2 different apps, which in itself poses a security risk. Just to get that functionality back. Just update the security risks and leave the rest of the damned phone alone.

If you haven't already you may want to try doing a partition cache clear which may be helpful if it is due to a software bug from the update. I do it after every OS and security update. Here are the steps:
