There are several posts here and in other locations of the exact same issues occurring with the last Feb and March updates to our Samsung phones.

These issues include:

1. Cellular and wifi connectivity problems where phones are not connecting to cellular, reporting that they aren't connecting to a cellular network but are, and wifi reporting quality issues or invalid passwords, where the samsung phone is the ONLY device on the network reporting these issues.

2. UI, video playback, and application lag that was not present before the feb and march updates

3. Phones are overheating after reboot and at random times, also not present before the feb and march updates.

There are literally hundreds of posts here and on reddit and other locations reporting these same issues across several lines of the S models since the Feb and March 2024 updates.  My company also uses Samsung S22, S23 and S24 phones, and several hundred of our users are reporting similar issues other users are reporting, since the 2 updates.

I have submitted a ticket to Samsung and they are asking for steps to reproduce.  Some users have reported uninstalling Samsung Health helps with the over heating problem.  The cellular and wifi connectivity problems, phone lag, and video lag issues have not found a work around.

Hello, We understand how upsetting it is when your phone is not working as expected.

1. Mobile Data and Wi-Fi Connectivity

This article provides the troubleshooting available for poor signal strength. It includes steps such as resetting the network, testing in Safe Mode, and a factory reset. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001598

For Wi-Fi connection issues, we have this article available: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001559/

2. UI, video playback, and application lag

When you are experiencing apps slowing down you can try the steps here: https://www.samsung.com/nz/support/mobile-devices/my-phone-is-lagging-what-should-i-do/

3. Overheating

While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Give this link a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/ You can also try clearing the cache partition of the phone. To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.

If you're still having the same problem I would suggest doing a factory data reset on the device.

If the troubleshooting is not helpful or the phone is getting too warm to touch, service is recommended.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair:  https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/ or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
