I just recently switched from Appalachian Wireless (Local Company) and iPhone 13 Pro Max to AT&T and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I deactivated iMessage and Facetime before switching over, and have since then confirmed on iTunes website that my number is no longer listed in iMessage. My issue is that I can receive text messages from iPhones on every carrier except for the carrier that I just left (Appalachian Wireless) I can receive Multimedia messages and group messages (even though they come through like they're individual messages).
I've restarted my phone several times, even reset it. Deleted my messaging apps and downloaded new ones to see if it is a permission issue. Does anyone have any advice or a fix for this?

I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to recieve text messages from certain carriers.
Unfortunately there's no way around that issue but to contact your carrier about this problem.
