View button disappeared from messages

I used to be able to view my unread text messages with a view button on the top. It's now disappeared. 

Anyone know how to reactivate it?

FINALLY... SOMEONE ELSE IS HAVING THE EXACT ISSUE!!

DID YOU EVER FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE IT GO BACK, To sorting our Unread Text Messages, in one "File".
So we don't need to keep Scrolling down, hunting for the several unread texts??

WHAT A PAIN & GAME CHANGER This has been for me.

If it can't be fixed, I'm going to need to switch my cell. It drives me nuts and waste so much time.

The app on my S10 has lost the top part of this screen.  

I used to be able to swipe down to get this part of the screen and could tap on # Unread Messages all my messages would be filterd to only view the unread ones.  how do i get that back?

Most frustrating loss of a feature. Was thus an android or Samsung feature? Whichever it was, I wish it was back!
