I have 2024 Subaru crosstrek and android auto doesn't have spotify 😐. I have clear cache Uninstalled both apps and reinstall it. Device broadcast status is on in spotify. Restarted my phone few times and also cleared cache. Nothing has helped so far
Enable developer options in android auto by tapping version multiple times. Then go to developer settings by tapping 3 dots top right, tick unknown sources. Then customize launcher select spotify
