Some emoji characters only show male options

In the text messages app, it only shows emojis that are male. So there is a male chef and a male artist and a male fairy. There used to be female chefs and female artists and female fairies emoji symbols.

I tried clicking on each symbol and there is no option for female emoji characters.
Is there a way to get female emoji symbols?
Thank you.

Have you tried holding your finger on the male emoji (rather than just pressing it) and see if it gives you other options? That's what I do.

Thank you for the suggestion. The emoji does show multiple options if you press and hold really hard directly in the center of the emoji image with the S pen. It should not be this difficult.

Yes, I have the Samsung keyboard and it has the same thing. However, if I'm composing a message or text and don't want to load the emojis I do what I mentioned above. That avoids having to load the emojis and is much faster. Either way works. 😊

I forget to mention that I use Textra for my messages. I don't know if that makes a difference...
