Why can't I download Samsung messages on my phone

Everytime I go to the galaxy store to look for the app it's not there

Is the app not already on your phone. It comes pre-installed? However since 2021 Samsung has been making Google messages the default app

I had it on my phone maybe a week ago but it kinda just disappeared

Well when I tried downloading it back it said sum to do with Verizon

I don't even think the carriers can delete it...have contacted Samsung?
