Is there a way to see my contacts' photos in the chatroom when messaging or is that not an available function? I looked through the settings of the Messages app itself but there weren't any customization option to see people's contact photos. It just felt annoying differentiating who said what when texting in a big group chat since I have to read the contact name every time.
You do not have to go into the settings for the messages app to do this. Try opening the contract, hitting the circle at the top, selecting gallery, choosing their photo, and then saving it. It should show their photo every time you receive a text from them, even in a group chat. I hope this helps.
The thing is, I already have contact photos set before, and it's not showing. I meant that I wanted to see their photo next to their text bubble, but I feel like regardless of setting a contact photo or not, it should be appropriate to see a default contact photo anyway?
