Sending videos over text not allowed if over 30 seconds long?

Does anyone understand why my phone won't allow me to send a video over 30 seconds long over text message? My galaxy s22 ultra would let me send at least 2 min videos

No unfortunately not, I've been messing with settings and trying to google it and so far nothing

It could be that the file size is to large for the messaging app you are using. If you go into your gallery and edit the video, you should have an option to reformat the video

What does each on do differently to the video? Does it change it much?

These are just video quality changes. The higher the quality, the larger the video file will be. For an example that video is 30 seconds long at 4k the file size is 600mbs

If I down grade the quality I could get the file size to 300mbs for an example

Some messaging apps have a limit on how big the file can be. So I'd try that
