How to retrieve IMEI on Galaxy Watch 4 without the watch connecting?

I'm trying to install a new SIM without using the watches own settings, because the watch itself won't connect. I tried the Wear App but I can't get to the IMEI number without the watch connecting first. Is there a way to get the IMEI outside of the watch?

Go to the watch settings on the watch itself. Scroll down to "about watch". Scroll till you get to the imei nbr

Or simply look at the back of the retail box it came in. It's printed with a bar code on the back of the retail packaging.

Not everyone saves their box.

Oh, don't I know it too! I keep telling my relatives to either save the box when it's small or the detail data plastered to the box. It often saves a multitude of anguish and is usually easier than "plan b."
