In general Samsung Health hasn't been very reliable on my watch 6 classic. In particular, body composition has been all over the map (i'm sure that my body fat is more than 2 percent) (it also takes four or five attempts for it to even comlete the reading ) and for some reason it doesn't detect deep sleep. Hopefully this will be fixed in one of the upcoming updates.

Hello, We understand how frustrating it is when the data does not display properly in the Samsung Health app. The suggested troubleshooting includes steps such as:

1. Clearing the app cache https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/

2. Rebooting both the phone & the watch

3. Uninstalling & reinstalling Samsung Health app

4. Making sure the watch, phone, and apps are up-to-date

5. Submit an error report using the Members app. https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/how-to-send-error-report-in-your-galaxy-device/

If the data is still missing or the feature continues to not work, you will need to reach out to the Samsung Health team directly by calling 1-855-795-0509.

For assistance outside the U.S., please reach out to support for your area here: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

Also, make sure to send an error report through the Wearables app: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-send-an-error-report/

My Galaxy Watch 5 Pro had similar issues.

After uninstalling/reinstalling the Samsung Health phone app, I've had three nights of more reasonable sleep tracking data.  Hopefully that trend will continue.

It's a mystery to me why software developers don't address all (or at least the most obvious) potential use scenarios, including that most folks simply install upgrades over the existing software version.

Then again, perhaps it only got well due to my sequence: factory reset watch, clear phone app cache, uninstall/reinstall phone app.  I will never know.
