I have the Galaxy classic 4 and I love it but battery life only lasts a day. I'm thinking of upgrading to the 5 pro. Should i do that or wait for the 6 pro coming in July/ August?
Deciding whether to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or wait for the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro depends on your personal preferences and priorities. Here are some factors to consider:
Battery Life: If battery life is a significant concern for you, it's worth noting that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro offers improved battery performance compared to the Galaxy Watch 4. However, the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 Pro might introduce even more battery optimizations or enhancements. If battery life is a top priority, you may want to wait for the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro to see if it offers further improvements in this area.
Features and Improvements: The Galaxy Watch 6 Pro is expected to come with the latest advancements in Samsung's smartwatch technology. This may include improved sensors, fitness tracking capabilities, health monitoring features, and possibly additional software enhancements. If you are particularly interested in having the latest features and improvements, waiting for the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro could be a good choice.
Budget: If budget is a consideration, the trade-in offer you mentioned for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro seems quite appealing. Getting the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro at a discounted price can be a cost-effective option, especially if the features and improvements of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro are not essential to you.
Timing: Waiting for the release of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro means you'll have access to the latest model sooner. However, keep in mind that release dates can sometimes be subject to change, and it's not guaranteed that the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will be released in July or August. If you need a new smartwatch now and cannot wait, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro would be a viable option.
Ultimately, the decision between upgrading to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or waiting for the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro depends on your individual needs, priorities, and how important it is for you to have the latest features and improvements. Consider weighing the factors mentioned above and choose the option that aligns best with your preferences and circumstances.
I'm sure they will have a reasonable trade in for the watch on the 6 also. They have me a good trade value on my old watch active 2
