Cover screen black when phone is closed

I hope in samsungs next One UI update they allow the cover screen to display when the phone is closed shut. Instead of it remaining black it's kinda weird. As someone who's used flip phone before, when you close the phones you will see the cover display and time highlight before going black.

And also a not so stiff mechanic when opening and closing the phone, if that's possible with the flex screen display. It would make it easier for those of us who want to answer and end calls by opening and closing the phone. But it's too stiff and difficult to do.
