HELP! S34J550WQ monitor has no sound.

Tried Dell Optiplex 9020 display port and got full screen video, scrambled icons, no sound

Tried Dell Optiplex 9020 HDMI port and got full screen, normal icon display, no sound

Tried Mac Air HDMI4 K HD and got tiny, partial screen video, no icons, no sound

Tried Dell laptop, same HDMI cable, got video, no sound

Optiplex 9020 plays sound OK with built in speakers and Realtek HD

 

My setup:

Dell Optiplex 9020

Nvidia GeForce 1030

Win10 home 21H1

Device manager says:

Sound output devices: RealTekHD, S34J55x ( NVIDIA High Definition Audio)

Nvidia HD Audio properties are:

General: Device is working properly

Update driver: Best drivers are already installed

Events:

General: Device is working properly

Update driver: Best drivers are already installed

How do I get sound to the monitor?
