I cannot find a way to force the home screens or apps screens to display the icon for some apps; specifically Google maps, YouTube, or files app. There may be more that I haven't tried yet. Most of the apps just show up in those places. Where I have to do to get these specific ones on those screens.? Also I can't get the icon for the Ring app there. However it will show up as a widget.
Thank you. More icon in search was not there, but settings was. That got me two of the icons on the app screens but maps and YouTube we're not hidden so it didn't work for them. I use the widgets for them for now. Thanks again. I don't think what you describe is in the manual. Gee what else is new
