So my QM65Q7CDM Samsung tv screen works just fine before I plug in the one connect box. Once I do half the screen goes black and kinda flickers. I bought a replacement one connect box and cable but still have the same problem.  I don't understand how this could be a tv problem if its lights up perfectly fine before i plug in the One Connect Box. Please help?

If your Samsung TV's screen works fine until you plug in the One Connect Box, and the issue persists even with a replacement One Connect Box and cable, it could be related to compatibility, settings, or a hardware problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. **Check Compatibility:**
Verify that the replacement One Connect Box and cable are compatible with your specific TV model. Ensure that they are the correct models for your TV, as using an incompatible box or cable may cause display issues.

2. **Inspect Cable Connections:**
Double-check the connections between the One Connect Box and the TV. Ensure that the cable is securely plugged into both the One Connect Box and the TV. If there are visible signs of damage on the cable or connectors, consider trying a different HDMI cable.

3. **Power Cycle:**
Turn off both the TV and the One Connect Box. Unplug the power cables from both devices and wait for a few minutes. Reconnect the power cables and turn on the TV and the One Connect Box. This power cycle can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

4. **Update Firmware:**
Ensure that both the TV and the One Connect Box have the latest firmware updates installed. Manufacturers release updates to address bugs and improve compatibility. Check for firmware updates in the TV's settings menu.

5. **Factory Reset:**
Perform a factory reset on the TV to restore it to its default settings. Keep in mind that this will erase your personalized settings, so make sure to note them down before proceeding.

6. **Try Different HDMI Ports:**
If your TV has multiple HDMI ports, try connecting the One Connect Box to a different HDMI port on the TV. This can help rule out potential issues with a specific HDMI port.

7. **Contact Samsung Support:**
If the issue persists, it's recommended to contact Samsung support. They can provide specific guidance based on the details of your TV model and the issue you're experiencing. They may also suggest further troubleshooting steps or advise on whether the TV may require service.

Given that the TV works fine without the One Connect Box connected, the issue may be related to the connection, compatibility, or a problem with the One Connect Box itself. Samsung support can provide more tailored assistance based on the specific details of your situation.
