Motion Detection on Frame TV with White Customizable Frame

QLED and The Frame

Just installed my 43” Frame where a painting used to hang and so far am very pleased with this product.  Two point mounting allows precise leveling, through the wall installation of the connect box in an adjacent closet kept it eye clean, the Art feature is super, and auto updates ensures that the software/firmware is current.  The Frame was installed and running well before it’s optional white bezel arrived.  The bezel is a perfect, well-engineered fit.

I have noticed that motion sensing (evening mode off) is impaired with the white frame installed.  Essentially, I must now approach the TV to a very short distance for the Art mode to auto-engage.  Without the white bezel, just passing through the room was enough.  On earlier Frame models the sensor could drop down thereby improving its perspective on the room.  Is there a similar accommodation for the 2021 Frames using the optional Samsung bezels?  Any suggestions on improving motion detection would be appreciated.
