If you open the note file and then tap the 3 dot menu in the upper right-hand corner, you'll see at the bottom a lock icon. Mine asked for a password and I figured out that it was my Samsung account password. You can then set it to lock and unlock with your fingerprints, or just leave it unlocked.

I do not want to completely eliminate my pin for security reasons but it is required way too many times = about 4x as much as on my old Ulefone. Is there any way to control this problem? eg. Almost every time my screen goes to idle-blank + other times when i think a waste of time eg: when i log off at night about 70% of the time.
