2 minutes in to the beta 4 update and it's already full of dumb.

Sooooo why exactly did you guys revert back to the notification panel with the grey silhouette of the app and a teal background? It was Way more visually appealing when the badges were the app icons with transparent background. Same goes with the AOD. Instead of transparent background it is now grey. Horrible. I realize everyone's backgrounds on their phones are different but that's when more customization options should be present. How many more times do ya'll plan on dropping the ball?

My theory is that this was a mistake.

People are reporting that the latest security patch on some Galaxy phones reverted the 5.1 change to notification icons. They're no longer matching color palette, and are back to unique colors.

I think we got that same "fix" even though we're past having that type of notification icons.

Just saw that beta 4 dropped.
Bummer with the notification screen. I may just sit this one out. Agree the gray looks awful and no way to change it.

I loved the app icons in notifications, I'm so disappointed they removed it. It looked really nice with the themed icons imo, I hope they bring it back.

Back to gray as others have mentioned and no application icons. Thought this was one of the big updates for One UI6?

Think it is an error but we should all let Samsung know that they need to bring the app icons back!
