Everything went well with the update but I didn't see anything change on my phone. I watched some YouTube videos and now I'm finding I've got some of the perks of the update while my phone seems to be working the same or better in some cases.
Check the android version in settings/about phone/software information, and it should say OneUI 4 android 12
I also kinda thought the same way, but I thought it was a failed install. I seen changes while booting, apps optimizing, and lock screen. But when i unlocked the phone everything looked untouched. So yea, I was disappointed that we didn't get some type of material OneUI upgrade
