Subject: Battery Drain Issue on S24U with Beta 4 and Recent Hot Fix

Dear Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding a significant battery drain issue I’ve been experiencing on my Galaxy S24 Ultra while using Beta 4 and the most recent Hot Fix.

As shown in the attached screenshot, the battery dropped by 35% within just 4 hours and 30 minutes of fairly light usage. The performance profile is set to "Light," and Adaptive Battery is enabled. 

To address the issue, I have:

- Disabled Adaptive Battery.

- Enabled Power Saving Mode with the processor limited to 70%.

- Kept the Light Performance Profile engaged.

Despite these adjustments, the battery consumption remains excessive. For instance, the logs indicate that the battery dropped from 71% to 66% while the screen was off for a period of time.

As a next step, I plan to reboot the device and clear the partition cache. However, I would appreciate your guidance on resolving the issue effectively l.

I noticed a big change in battery life for the better by turning off adaptive battery 🔋 in the settings. Performance profile is set to light and power savings is off. 🤔

What's your experience and settings if you would like to share?

Battery life has been good, except for yesterday when I had the phone on a tripod to get some PR shots. The battery plummeted while just sitting there 20 minutes, not recording. I think it was at 38% when I got finished.

Yes, random occurrences like you described is what I have experienced.
I will normally reboot and clear the cache partician and then the battery is pretty good again.
At the time of this post, even that procedure was not resolving the battery drain.
Turning off adaptive battery seems to have helped. Maybe there is a bug? 🐛
