The blurred background bug that slowed down the device and was linked to the dark/light device themes was supposedly fixed. But, unfortunately, the same bug still occurs.
On the bright side, when I get the blurred background on beta 2, it doesn't really slow my phone down.
For anyone experiencing this bug, swapping your color theme to the other one and then back still resolves the background blur.
