Just make a factory reset and thats all, i do through the recovery. Firts add the plan Esim and later follow the steps, and when u finish gonna get signal and data, DONT FORGET MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE THE RESET

Swipe down with two fingers to reveal the Notification Shade.

Tap the Power icon in the top right corner.

Tap the Power off button.

Press and the Volume Up and Power button for up to five seconds.

When the Samsung logo appears on the display, release the buttons.

Use the Volume buttons to navigate to Wipe data/factory reset.

Click the Power button to select the option.

Scroll down using the Volume Up and Down buttons.

Select Factory data reset and tap the Power button.

Once complete, select Reboot system now using the Power button

How did you do the esim step? I've tried both convert on the phone and going through the t-mobile site. Needed to replace sim both times. Didn't do factory reset though as seemed extreme

I got mine working without a factory reset

In my case my phone is locked so i gotta do this, in some cases is diferent is just be lucky

In the website in my case just said if is samsung write manually but like that dont work, i just use the qr code from the pixel option and scan it, and done get the esim

Hello @test0101 ,

A factory reset should not be need for ESIM to work properly.  Did you try resetting network settings before a mater reset ?

I tried everything i find in web, literally everything and just the factory reset work for me

I also had to do a factory reset to get the esim working. I tried going both ways though tmobile site adding it and from the phone and both caused me to lose service completely till I did a factory reset and scanning the qr code and going though the steps again once done that service came back and been working good since.
