Don't rely on Beta Software to work with Banking / Payment apps. It's a security measure.

Surprisingly, all my banking apps seem to work with this Beta... USAA, Navy Fed Disney's Partners CU all seem to load and open... A far cry from the S10 Beta's (I believe it was the S10, that they didn't work on due to security), so I'm glad they got those straightened out. But yes, you are correct.... The Beta versions aren't signed certified by Google and so a lot of banking apps/GPay/etc, may not work because the app scans for signed/certified builds and if they don't have that signature, they automatically think that it's a modified version (even if coming from the Device Manufacturer) and won't allow it to open for security reasons.

Beta softwares aren't labeled as "official software" therefore Google Pay won't work until the full approved Android 12 is released.

Hello @Rockety ,

During beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Pay and other secure services may not work. We apologize for the inconvenience and will post a notice once it becomes certified by Google. You may try again at that time.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
