Green Microphone then Green Dot

I notice that every so often, a green microphone will appear on the upper right side of the screen. It disappears in a few seconds, then a single small green dot takes its place for a few more seconds. Then it too disappears. 

I figure some app is causing this but, I have not seen this prior to installing the beta.

Thoughts?

It's one of the newest addition to Android 12. It informs you of which app is using your microphone at any point in time.
