I don't know what causes it but after the one ui beta 5, my home screen hasn't been working very well. It just sits on the home screen not responding to any of my touches. HOWEVER, the quick panel and the navigation bar works just fine. For now, the only way to fix is my restarting my phone.
Same here. Touch screen becomes very slow and unresponsive sometimes. When I'm typing, it won't capture all my touches. Home screen swipe down for notifications won't work.
