I had em before the update today from what I can remember. I do know that they announced a change a while back.

Yeah this happened in the September Security Patch

They said they were getting rid of ads in all their first party apps.

Well on T-Mobile this update was the first time we received the Sept security patch lol

Removing Ads was one of strongest feedback we received from Android 11 beta program. Even though it took some time , we were able to get it done. All credit to our beta community for pushing this change.
