RCS for Samsung Messages

I was hoping this Beta would allow for RCS connection in Samsung Messages. I have an unlocked device, bought straight from Samsung and I've never been able to use RCS features with Samsung Messages. I've been stuck using Google Messages just to have RCS support. Oh well...using Google Messages is better than nothing...

Edit for clarification: I've never had the RCS menu option to turn on chat features for Samsung Messages.

RCS for unlocked is a long complicated issue that we have been trying to solve. But it does involve multiple parties and is not solved yet. Technically we have code to do it , Enabling it is not a Samsung only decision. Hopefully wait will be over soon as this is most requested feature in Android 11 too.

RCS chat in Google messages is broken. I can send if I make Samsung my default. It was working with Android 11
