Perhaps it was a matter of the update settling in with the system, or a fix from samsung's end. But I noticed this morning that the stuttering scrolling is now smooth.

Fortunately, I've never had the issue on mine.

Did you reboot, or Wipe Cache Partition, or anything along those lines?

I did both right after I updated, and it still was wonky. Seems like it fixed itself when I was sleeping šŸ˜“ šŸ’¤

If you turn wifi off, the weird wobbly lag doesn't do it as much or only with certain apps.

I wish I could say the same for my device. Scrolling is still choppy and jelly-like on my S21. Hoping the next beta fixes it. For me, beta 3 was super smooth and a great user experience compared to beta 4.

Hello @user9Cm5NjyVjG ,

Please erase the device cache using steps below. If issue persists, Please update Samsung members app to latest version from galaxy store and send us an error report from the Samsung memberā€™s app -> Beta Feedback -> Error Reports to help us debug the issue.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Side key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
  8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Side key to restart the device.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team

I also took the advice to switch to 60 Hz for the rest of the beta period. Definitely helps

The scrolling issue has returned in some apps.
I refuse to disable wifi or downgrade my screen to 60hz. Didn't spend this kind of money to have a entry level experience.
This needs to be fixed. Period.

It will be fixed of course eventually, but setting it to 60 is still better than suffer with the weird scrolling issue.
