installed the beta for ui 6.  got caught up in the boot loop.  i did a reset instead of the factory reset.  i didn't read the posts on the issue before hand.  it however has resolved the issue.  i have one question.  will the way i did it remove me from the beta test moving forward?

did you do a factory restore or what i did, just a regular restore?  the way is did it has resolved the boot loop issue..  to perform the factory reset>>>

1.Hold down both buttons until you the watch resets and then shows the Samsung name.
2.Then click the Home button twice.
3.You will get to a text menu.
4.Click the home button multiple times to get Recovery menu highlighted.
5.Then long press on the Home button until the menu changes.
6.Then use the back button to scroll down to Factory reset.
7.Click the Home button to select Factory reset.
8.Use the back button to select yes
9.Click the Home button to activate it.

Had the same issue. Did a factory reset and that worked.  I did a restore after factory reset and most of my stuff came back, most not all...

I had the same issue but was having trouble figuring out the factory reset as the instructions I read were confusing, so I did a regular reset and I'm still on beta

If you go into the wearable app and look at your about watch information then click on software information it'll tell you what UI version you're running. If it says 6.0 watch then you're on Beta

Hello @GabrielStorm64,

Thank you for your interest in Beta and we apologize for this reboot issue that is ongoing in the community.

As you've mentioned, either reset (If you can make it to Settings > About Watch > Scroll down to reset before the whole looping chaos happens) or Factory Reset (Manual reset method if you can't make it to Settings' Reset that you found on our community threads) can both be a resolution to this issue, as both will do their jobs clearing out all conflicting apps that's causing this reboot issue.

Good news is that you won't be removed from Beta list unless you manually "Withdraw" through the Samsung Members app after your reset.

Please keep us informed with any issues that you encounter via Error report, and we will look into all the issues reported by the users.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team
