I've seen this issue prior to the beta. Have you tried to reboot phone?

Go to (phone) Settings ...
Apps and
select Play Store,
Force Stop
then Storage, Clear Cache

Then reboot phone to Maintenance screen and select to Wipe Cache Partition

I've had this issue before beta, but It happens way more now and even if it works its ridiculously slow installing sometimes
