Removal of stretch overscroll effect

Beta 3 implemented this Android 12 feature and now it has been removed on Beta 4. Why was it removed? Will it be coming back? I worked really nicely throughout the whole OS.

what was "stretch overscroll effect"? not even sure if I noticed it?

So if you have a really long page, and you flick your finger on the screen to scroll to the bottom (or top), when the bottom of the page is reached, the page slightly "bounces" (stretches)

We do not have any plan to bring back Stretch feature at this time. However, we received lot of feedback requesting it to be brought back and have asked our usability team to look in to it.
