QuestionsI bought my phone in the US but now I live in India.
Since it is the globally unlocked version, it used to work in India just fine.
But after OneUI 4 update, phone calls and SMS have stopped working.
Please look into this as it is a big problem. It basically makes the phone unusable.

QuestionsPower off phone.
Remove SIM
Power up phone and allow to "settle in", i.e., let it sit for five minutes.
Power off phone.
Install SIM and power on phone and allow to sit for five minutes.
Retry phone call and SMS.
If that doesn't work, contact your carrier.

QuestionsThanks for the answer. I will try it, but as a software developer myself, I don't think it will work.
Also, I don't think contacting my carrier will work here since there is nothing wrong with my carrier. The same SIM used to work on OneUI 3.0 yesterday. I think Samsung has a bug in One UI v4.0 here.
There are many tickets reporting the same issue.
What do you think? For all of the above people, with OneUI v3.0, everything was fine. It is OneUI v4.0 that is causing the problem IMHO.

QuestionsThere's already another thread going on with the same issue. So far @Samsung Dusty has not acknowledge the issue or provided any update. This is a big problem and I am not sure why it's taking so long to at least acknowledge the issue. I have tried multiple things but nothing worked. This seems to be a volte related issue.
Here's the thread which I was talking about and has this issue described in detail.

QuestionsThanks for pointing me to the thread. It didn't show up when I searched Google for "S21 Ultra OneUi 4.0 Update Calls not working".

QuestionsThanks for the reply. I sent the error report.
Also, note that this is not a part of the "beta program". This problem is happening with the One UI Stable release that I received.
Also please reply to the following thread which contains more information on the same issue.
