Passwords of no more than 16 characters play into the hands of hackers. Surely Samsung's developers are capable of increasing password lengths to increase device security.
who's going to brute force a phone that has a timeout period after 3 failed attempts that gets longer and longer with every failed attempt. surely if you care about security you would know to enable encryption and make use remote wipe your phone if you lost your phone. 16 digits is already way more than the 6 digit pin available on my iPhone š
