We need a PURE dark theme for google messages, not this trash artificial dull dark theme. Similar to imessage or samsung messages, i dont know why google pursues an ugly version of a dark theme🤨 Also go back to the green/blue bubbles instead of a default light blue. only change colors when you have a THEME applied. It would make the apps appearance look so much better!
Its probably not implemented due to scientific reasons it does on your eyes. A dark gray-ish color would be better to reduce ice strain than pure black and it is almost equivalent in terms of battery usage.
