Can't Sign Into Samsung account on TV smart hub

Just got my new TV in yesterday. During and after setup, I can't sign in to the smart hub. It keeps saying my information is incorrect. I have reset my password on tablet and browser and can log into my account fine. However, when I try to sign in on my TV to download more apps it keeps saying I have the wrong email/password. Is there some sort of seperate account? It is connected to the internet and the apps I currently have on it work fine.

 

I have the RU7100 - Model Number - UN43RU7100FXZA

Thanks for the reply. I had previously tried all of those attempts except for the 5 minute unplug and nothing worked. Tried the 5 minute unplug and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks.

Have you tried resetting the password for the Samsung account? What is the current software version? Have you tried unplugging the unit for 5 minutes? Is it able to connect to the internet?

Now, the solution worked for me: just put the e-mail only in lowercase letters!

The password letters can be mixed.

I am having the same problem and none of the solutions have worked. Here is what I have done so far:

1. reset my password and then succesfully logged into my account on a number of other devices to verify no account issues.

2. Tried to log into account using new password on TV - same error

3. Powered TV off and back on, tried to sign in again - same error

4. Unplugged TV for 5 minutes, tried to sign in again - same error

5. Unplugged TV for 30 minutes, tried to sign in again - same error

*Note - The TV was connected to the internet and able to stream media on a factory installed app.

 

I used the tv to put a ticket in, and finally recieved a call... 18 hours later while i'm at work, got bounced around 3 times and finally told that i needed to be in front of the TV to troubleshoot the issue.

I dont know how to access the software version and I am located in the US.
