My Samsung after system update does not have sound

Same and lost all contacts on my Galaxy Note20 Ultra

No...I would have had I known there was going to be a system update! Messed up my message notifications also

No sound at all or just sound from some apps?

Seems to be on msg application

Tap and hold on messages app icon and then in the pop-up tap on the "i" mark. Then go to notifications and then tap on notification categories. In there see if toggle for new messages or incoming messages is on. Also check other toggles.
