Hello marketingtalk,

Thank you so much for posting. We understand your camera has stopped working. Camera issues are usually caused by a software issue and can usually be resolved with troubleshooting. Please, attempt the following to try to resolve.

Make sure your camera app is up to date:

Go to Settings> about camera> check if updates are available or if it is on the latest version.

Next, reset camera settings:

Go to camera app>go to settings> tap reset settings>tap reset

Then, double check the camera has the correct permissions:

Go to Settings> Security and privacy> tap Privacy> tap Camera access and turn it on

Sometime third party apps can cause issues with camera performance. To rule out third party apps place your unit on Safe Mode.

Go to the Power Menu by holding Power off until Safe Mode icon displays> your device will start in Safe mode> open camera app and check if error still occurs> If the error no longer occurs a third party app is causing the issue and must be uninstalled.  If the error is no longer there simply exit out of Safe Mode by rebooting phone normally.

If we are still unable to find a solution make sure to back up your phone. Keep important information and data and then perform a factory data reset.

Go to settings>Factory Data Reset> Tap Factory Data reset> tap Reset> then set up your unit from initial set up.

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:
