Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out about this. I can understand the inconvenience and confusion with the Camera app not displaying the files it is taking or screenshots. First, what file type(s) are these pictures and screenshots? Checking what @MikenSam suggested would be a good start.

If that does not help, try clearing the app cache and data for the Camera app. This guide will walk you through it: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/#:~:text=Open%20Settings%2C%20and%20then%20swi....

If that does not resolve the behavior, it is possibly a third-party application that is the root cause. You can find out using Safe Mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If the behavior persists under Safe Mode, it may be time to try a factory reset. Follow this guide carefully, and back up everything you wish not to lose beforehand: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung  or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:
